Chhath Puja 2014

Chhath Puja (छठ पूजा) is one of the prime festival of north India and Nepal dedicated to God Surya and Chhathi Maiya. The rituals of this festival are rigorous and it goes on for four days. Chhath Pooja is performed near the water bodies like rivers or ponds and when it comes to my city Dehri On Sone, we celebrate on the bank of Sone river.

Chhath Puja is very close to nature and eco-friendly, as devotees use Ghee Lamp for prayer, 'Soop' & 'Daura' used during rituals are made of bamboo. Prashad for Chhath Puja includes all available seasonal fruits, dry fruits, sugarcane, coconut, ginger & turmeric plants and lot more.

This place is known for temple of Goddess Maa Tutula Bhawani and incredible waterfall. Dehri on Sone (डेहरी ऑन सोन) is the beautiful city and it has great scope for tourism. Here is some of the images clicked through the city while moving around with my friends. Indrapuri Dam (Barrage)

Indrapuri Barrage (also known as the Sone Barrage) is the fourth longest barrage in the world with the length of 1407 meters (4616 ft). Construction of Indrapuri barrage began in 1960 by Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) and commissioned in 1968. Two canals are connected with Indrapuri Dam are used for irrigation and converted a large area of infertile land in to a richly productive area. लॉकडाउन के बाद ताराचंडी मंदिर के खुले पट | दर्शन करने पहुंचे श्रद्धालु

कोरोना वायरस की वजह से ढाई महीने के लॉकडाउन बाद ताराचंडी मंदिर के पट सोमवार को खुल गया। पहुंचने वाले सभी श्रद्धालुओं की थर्मल स्कैनिंग कराई जा रही है। मंदिर के पुजारी बाबा ने बताया कि मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं के बीच सोशल डिस्टेंसिंग का पूरा ध्यान रखा जा रहा है। अभी मंदिर के गर्भगृह में श्रद्धालुओं का प्रवेश वर्जित है। साथ ही प्रसाद चढ़ाने तथा घंटियां बजाने पर भी रोक लगाई गई हैं। ताकि संक्रमण का खतरा कम हो। वीडियो स्रोत: नवभारत टाइम्स मंदिर में पूजा करते श्रद्धालु

आकाशीय बिजली से बचने के उपाय

अगर बादल गरज रहे हों, आपकी गर्दन के पिछले हिस्से पर अचानक खड़े हुए बाल और सिहरन की अनुभूति इस बात का संकेत है कि बिजली गिर सकती है। बिजली से बचने के लिए 30-30 सुरक्षा नियम का ध्यान रखें। बिजली को देखने पर 30 तक गिनती शुरू करें। यदि आप 30 तक पहुंचने से पहले गड़गड़ाहठ सुनते हैं, तो तुरंत घर के अंदर चले जाएं। अंतिम गड़गड़ाहठ के बाद कम से कम 30 मिनट के लिए गतिविधियों को स्थगित रखें। धातु की वस्तुओं का उपयोग न करें इसके ज़रिए बिजली आपके शरीर में घुस सकती है। बिजली या टेलीफोन लाइनों से दूर रहें। छतरी या मोबाइल फ़ोन का उपयोग न करें। यदि खुले आसमान के नीचे हों ऐसे में नीचे दुबक कर पैरों के बल बैठ जाएँ, अपने हाथ घुटने पर रख लें और सर दोनों घुटनों के बीच इस मुद्रा के कारण आपका ज़मीन से कम से कम संपर्क होगा। जमीन पर सपाट न लेटें, अपने हाथ जुमीन पर न रखें। बिजली या गड़गड़ाहठ के शुरू होने पर यदि आप बाहर हैं तो पेड़ों के नीचे आश्रय न लें क्योंकि पेड़ बिजली के सुचालक हैं। भीड़ से दूर हो जायें । जलाशयों से दूर रहें। ऐसी इमारत में शरण लें जिसमें ग्राउंडिंग की व्यव
